To my Elocution teacher who made me recite poems,stories a dozen times for making even a silly mistake,I’ve performed monologues of characters from Shakespeare plays for huge audiences thanks to you.
To my primary sectional head who forced me to do a welcome speech in grade 2 for the new grade 1 students in which I stammered in anxiety and almost failed to deliver,I’ve hosted on stages as a compere for crowds of hundreds thanks to you.
To my Combined Math teacher who gave us tons of homework and punished us the following day even in our Advanced Level classes, I solve hard computing algorithmic problems and debug complex programs with ease thanks to you.
To my Advance level IT teacher who made me write the code in a paper without a compiler for just missing a semi-colon, I correct the mistakes in some of my colleagues’ codes thanks to you.
To my School Drama director who punished everyone else in the cast for a mistake I did, I give my fullest when working in a group with no limitations thanks to you and always look after everyone in the team thanks to you.
To the march past trainer in our house meet who made us do fifty sets of push-ups for not sharing a rice packet with the entire parade,today I split a single biscuit with whatever the number of heads in the room thanks to you.
You all proved to me that life is not always sunshine and rainbows and mentored me not only how to hit harder in life but more importantly how to take multiple hits, and still keep moving forward!
You were the finest of finest that lead by example,consolidating the fact that pushing people beyond what’s expected of them is an absolute necessity to bring out the best in them.
If I have achieved something today it’s all thanks to the loud shouting,punishments and life lessons that contained not hate but love from all teachers in my life mentioned above or not ,even if you taught me a simple thing in the game of life.
